The EU is building LNG terminals en masse to abandon Russian gas

The European Union is actively investing in the construction of LNG terminals to finally get rid of its dependence on Russian gas. This was stated by Artem Petrenko, Executive Director of the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine, in an interview with the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian".

Europe is actively building and commissioning LNG terminals. As of today, we see that the volume of Russian gas in the European segment is already less than 10%. And this figure is constantly decreasing. That is, if before the full-scale invasion it was 150 billion cubic meters of gas, now it is 15 billion cubic meters. Every month Europe is doing everything to ensure that Russians stop receiving money from European consumers,” he said.
