Ukraine’s U-17 national team qualifies for Euro 2024

Ukraine’s U-17 national team has reached the final round of Euro 2024 U-17. This was reported by the Ukrainian Football Association, Kommersant ukrainskyi reports https://www.komersant.info/

The team of players (footballers not older than 2007) defeated Slovakia in the final match of the elite selection round. Yuriy Moroz’s team did not let a storm stop them, which forced the referee to interrupt the game for four hours in the first half.

After the players returned to the pitch before the break, our guys scored twice – first, Stepanov scored from a pass from Strelchuk, and then Redushko doubled the blue and yellow’s advantage.

In the second half, Stepanov scored a double from Dragan’s pass. As a result, Yuriy Moroz’s men won 3-0.

Earlier in Group 4, the blue and yellows defeated Greece (2-0) and Switzerland (3-0). Three matches, three wins, zero goals conceded – and for the first time since 2017, Ukraine is in the final stage of the Euros.

The European Championship will take place in Cyprus from 20 May to 5 June. on 3 April, the draw will take place, during which the Ukrainians will find out their opponents.
