Moment of SBU colonel’s murder in Kyiv emerges: video

On July 10, a shooting took place in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district. As a result, a colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) was killed. This was reported by the National Police Department in Kyiv and SBU Colonel Roman Chervinsky, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Police are establishing the circumstances of the shooting in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv. Arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers found the body of a man with a gunshot wound,” the police said in a statement.
Currently, investigative teams from the district and main police departments, criminal investigation officers, dog handlers and other services are working at the scene. All the circumstances of the incident are currently being established.
Colonel Ivan Voronych was killed by an enemy saboteur, according to Ukrainian military and intelligence officer Roman Chervinsky, who previously worked for the SBU. He noted that his colleague was killed.
“A worthy officer (Colonel) Ivan Voronych was killed by an enemy saboteur. Eternal memory, honor and respect!” – chervinsky wrote.
The moment of the SBU colonel’s murder in Kyiv was posted on social media. An unknown person ran up to the man and shot him five times at close range.
Police also showed a video of the fatal shooting.
Meanwhile, SBU Colonel Roman Chervinsky posted details of the murder on Telegram. Chervinsky says he was killed at 8 a.m. while leaving his house, “with five shots at close range.”
“A man who has been fighting the enemy since 2014 and was one of those who started the direction in the Service that is now creating many problems for the orcs. The enemy killer did his dirty work with five shots at close range, while leaving the apartment, at 8 a.m. today.”

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing under Article 348 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, member of a public formation for the protection of public order and the state border, or a serviceman).
Police continue to work at the scene of the shooting.
The person involved in the crime is being identified, and measures are being taken to detain him.
