More than 10 thousand people have been evacuated from Kharkiv region

A total of 10,573 people have been evacuated from three districts of Kharkiv region. The occupiers continue to terrorise the region, there are wounded and dead. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“We are talking about evacuations from Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv districts.
According to the authorities, there were 11 military clashes in the Kharkiv sector on 19 May.
The occupiers carried out air strikes and kept trying to break through our defences near Vovchansk, Staritsa, Liptsy and Zelenoye. In response, Ukrainian troops inflicted significant losses on the invaders, the details of which are being clarified.
In the Kupyansk sector, the number of combat engagements totalled 12 over the last day. Ukrainian defence forces successfully repelled enemy attacks near the towns of Sinkivka, Ivanivka and Berestove.
Earlier, Sinegubov reported that the pace of evacuation of people from Kharkiv region has slightly decreased, but the process is still ongoing.
According to him, about 100 people remain in Vovchansk, a smaller number – in the Lipetsk direction. Evacuation from the northern part of Vovchansk, where the Russian occupation forces are located, is currently impossible. However, the evacuation of civilians from the Lipetsk direction and the southern part of Vovchansk continues despite the shelling.
