In 10 minutes: Diia has simplified the process of applying for a subsidy

The process of applying for a subsidy through Diia has been simplified and accelerated, allowing it to be done in 10 minutes. This was reported by the Diia press service, Kommersant Ukrainian reports 
It is noted that it used to take 30 minutes to apply for a subsidy on the portal. Now, the service can be obtained three times faster, as 7 fields should be filled in instead of 21. Most of the documents will be automatically pulled up from the registers.
At the same time, the report emphasises that this service is available to Ukrainians who have not yet applied for a subsidy.
How to apply for a subsidy in Diia
1. Register or log in to the citizen’s account at diia.gov.ua using an electronic signature or BankID.
2. Select the Subsidy application service in the Services menu on the Diia portal.
3. Check that your data in the user profile is correct and update it if necessary.
4. Enter the address where you want to receive the subsidy.
5. Select whether you want to receive a subsidy for housing and utilities. If yes, tick the necessary services from the list of available services and fill in the fields for each of them.
6. Enter the IBAN of the account to which the subsidy will be credited.
7. Provide the details of the people registered in the dwelling, as well as their relatives.
If you are an internally displaced person or a landlord, you need to provide only the data of those who actually live in the apartment. The calculation takes into account the income of the people indicated in the application for subsidy.
8. Check the data in the application.
9. Sign it with an electronic signature and send it.
