The ship carrying Swedish activist Greta Thunberg Madlee, which was heading to the Gaza Strip, was boarded by Israeli soldiers. It is being towed to Israel. This was reported by the Israeli Foreign Ministry, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

According to Israeli media, there were 12 activists on board the ship who said they were sailing to Gaza to “raise awareness” and deliver aid. It is currently unknown where they are being held.

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition, a civil society movement dedicated to ending the blockade of Gaza, said the ship was allegedly intercepted in international waters, its crew kidnapped, and its cargo, which included food, baby food, and medicine, confiscated.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the trip a PR stunt, stating in a post on X that the “celebrity selfie yacht” was “safely on its way to the shores of Israel.”
