Zelenskyy signs law: soldiers will receive 50 thousand hryvnias a month after captivity

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed into law a law that introduces monthly payments of 50,000 hryvnias for soldiers released from captivity.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
The document introduces a monthly payment for those who need long-term recovery after being in captivity. The amount of the payment is 50 thousand hryvnias per month.
It will be paid during the first three months of inpatient treatment.
The law defines the procedure for obtaining certificates of injuries and illnesses suffered by soldiers during captivity. Previously, financial assistance was provided only to those who had been wounded, contused or injured.
Now, soldiers who have serious or exacerbated illnesses that arose as a result of their captivity will also be able to count on support.
