Zelenskyy arrives in Sweden for third Ukraine-Northern Europe summit

On Friday, 31 May, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Stockholm, Sweden, to take part in the third Ukraine-Northern Europe Summit. This was reported by the President’s press service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

Zelenskyy said that today Ukraine will sign three security agreements at once, which will fix the projected defence and other comprehensive support for a long period.

“Our key priorities: Air defence for Ukraine – we have to provide more systems, joint defence production – and providing our soldiers with weapons, as well as our global work to force Russia to peace,”

– the president wrote.

In Stockholm, Zelenskyy plans to meet with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, and Icelandic Prime Minister Bjarni Benediktsson. The politicians will communicate both within the summit and in bilateral formats.

The President of Ukraine will also meet with King Carl XVI of Sweden and representatives of defence companies.
