Zelensky appoints new ambassadors to 16 countries: full list

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed new ambassadors to 15 countries. The relevant decrees were published on the official website of the head of state, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Among the appointments:
- Algeria – Alexander Voronin
- United Arab Emirates – Oleksandr Balanutsa (will also represent Ukraine in the International Renewable Energy Agency – IRENA)
- Bosnia and Herzegovina – Vladimir Bachinsky
- Estonia – Volodymyr Boyechko
- Angola – Andriy Kasyanov
- Japan – Yuri Lutovinov
- Belgium – Yaroslav Melnyk
- Malaysia – Gennadiy Nadolenko
- Cyprus – Sergiy Nizhynsky
- Mexico – Sergiy Pogoreltsev
- Canada – Andriy Plakhotnyuk (will also represent Ukraine in the International Civil Aviation Organization – ICAO)
- Oman – Olga Selikh
- Spain – Yulia Sokolovska (representative of Ukraine to the World Tourism Organization – UNWTO)
- Kuwait – Maxim Subh
- Kenya – Yuriy Tokar (also Permanent Representative to the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat)
- Ukraine will be represented in the Republic of South Africa by Oleksandr Shcherba.
The President emphasized that each of the newly appointed diplomats had been assigned personal tasks and clear criteria for assessing their performance.
“Today, in the format of a meeting with the ambassadors, we will determine the key priorities of Ukrainian diplomacy for the next six months,” Zelenskyy said.
