Zelensky announced a change in Russia’s tactics: from energy to logistics

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian troops did not strike Ukrainian energy facilities on the night of January 29-30. At the same time, the day before, energy infrastructure in several regions was damaged.

The head of state announced this following a conference call on the security situation and restoration work in the regions, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Change in attack tactics

According to Zelensky, there is currently a shift in priorities in Russian attacks.

“We are now seeing a reorientation of the Russian army towards strikes on logistics,” the president said.

At the same time, he said, drone attacks on residential areas in Ukrainian cities are continuing.

Strike on Kharkiv region

The president also reported the use of a ballistic missile on the territory of the Kharkiv region. According to him, the strike damaged civilian storage facilities.

Zelensky added that these were facilities associated with an American company. He did not provide any further details.

Discussions about strikes on energy infrastructure

The day before, Zelensky emphasized that there were no direct agreements between Ukraine and Russia to stop attacks on energy infrastructure. At the same time, consultations on this issue are continuing, particularly on international platforms.

The president stressed that Ukraine would respond “mirror-like” to Russia’s actions.

The situation with restoration

According to Zelenskyy, the conference call also discussed the pace of restoration work in the regions that had been shelled. The president did not provide details on specific objects or restoration deadlines.
