Zelenskyy addresses Ukrainians with New Year’s greetings: “We believe in peace and fight for it”

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska have congratulated citizens on the upcoming New Year. In his address, the head of state emphasized that 2025 became possible thanks to the resilience of the Ukrainian people and the feat of the defenders of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The President emphasized that another year was lived and survived thanks to the daily work, integrity and unity of Ukrainians.
“Another year is passing – chosen by the dedication and resilience, integrity and daily work of Ukrainians. This year was made possible thanks to our defenders – those who defended it not only for Ukraine, but also for everyone who values freedom and dignity,” Zelenskyy said.
The Head of State added that Ukraine is entering the new year with important experience and memory, with faith, hope and the power of the native word.
According to the President, the key values that Ukrainians take with them into the new year are humanity and the ability to act together.
“We believe in peace, fight for it and work for it. Happy New Year, dear Ukrainians!” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
The President’s greeting became another symbol of the country’s unity on the eve of the New Year amid the ongoing war.
