Ukraine intends to adopt a new doctrine on the “strategic neutralization” of Russia. This was reported by the American newspaper The Washington Post, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“Ukraine is quietly adopting a new doctrine that former Defense Minister Andriy Zagorodnyuk called ‘strategic neutralization,'” the newspaper said.
The concept, as noted in the WP article, is to “paralyze Russian forces on the ground and in the air, as Ukraine did in the Black Sea.”
Prior to that, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine’s strong army should remain so in ten years.
According to Zelenskyy, this state of the Armed Forces should be maintained “both in the conditions of war now and to ensure security later.”
