Ukrainian Armed Forces strike at Russian nuclear power plant with a combat drone

On the night of Tuesday, October 7, the Ukrainian armed forces attempted to attack the Novovoronezh nuclear power plant in the Voronezh region. This was reported by Rosenergoatom, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to the information, the drone tried to attack the cooling tower of the nuclear power plant – it was allegedly neutralized by means of electronic warfare. The drone collided with the cooling tower of power unit No. 6, which is in operation, and exploded.
“There was no damage or casualties, but the detonation left a dark mark on the cooling tower,” the concern said.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, on the night of October 7, 18 aircraft were intercepted over the Voronezh region. In total, more than 180 UAVs were shot down over 14 regions of Russia overnight.
