The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated nine settlements in one of the directions: what does this mean for the front line

Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers liberated nine settlements in the Oleksandrivka direction. This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to the military command, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Airborne Assault Forces continue to actively advance, dislodging the enemy from fortified positions and destroying its logistics.
Nine settlements liberated
The General Staff noted that as of now, nine settlements have been liberated, and three more have been completely cleared of the enemy in the Ukrainian zone of responsibility.
Work is also continuing on the liberation of several more settlements.
“The Airborne Forces are relentlessly pressing the enemy, liberating Ukrainian land, destroying the occupiers, and methodically cutting off their logistical arteries,” the statement said.
How the offensive operation is going
The military emphasizes that the operation is being carried out in accordance with a carefully considered plan by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian units are
- are systematically pushing back the enemy;
- are delivering precision and massive strikes on manpower and equipment;
- are destroying the enemy’s supply system;
- are limiting its command and control capabilities.
According to the General Staff, in the first week of the operation, enemy forces’ access to the Starlink network was restricted, which significantly affected their situational awareness and complicated the command and control of units.
Despite this, the enemy continued its offensive actions.
Strategic context
Earlier, Brigadier General Pavlo Palis stated that Russia is developing scenarios for expanding the occupation zone and is trying to create so-called “buffer zones” in the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine.
In response, Ukrainian troops continue their counteroffensive, imposing their own terms of battle on the enemy.

The liberation of nine settlements in one of the directions indicates the intensification of Ukrainian offensive operations and the weakening of the enemy’s logistics.
