Ukrainian Armed Forces liberate Novoekonomichne in Donetsk region: video

Assault groups of the Skelya regiment have liberated the village of Novoekonomichne in Donetsk region. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to the military department, in late August, Ukrainian defenders took control of the settlement.
It took two weeks for the Defense Forces to completely drive out the Russian occupiers.
“It took two weeks to gradually go through each street step by step: setting up groups at night, detecting the enemy, coordinated assault and clearing,” the General Staff explained.
As a result, on August 31, in the center of Novoekonomichne, soldiers of the separate assault regiment “Skelya” raised the Ukrainian flag.
The message is accompanied by a video showing the moment when the Ukrainian flag was raised over the liberated settlement.
It should be noted that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported active offensive actions of Russian troops towards Novoekonomichne on August 16.
As a reminder, soldiers of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Third Army Corps drove the occupiers out of Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region and regained control of the settlement as a result of a successful offensive.
Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with the National Guard units achieved significant success in several frontline areas within two weeks, liberating at least six settlements.
