Trump-Putin meeting ends: talks lasted almost 3 hours

US President Donald Trump’s talks with Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska have ended. They lasted almost three hours, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The leaders’ summit was held at the Elmendorf-Richardson base near the city of Anchorage.
In addition to Trump, the meeting was attended by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and envoy Steve Witkoff. They sat next to Trump.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his aide Yuri Ushakov were also there, sitting next to Putin.

Putin and Trump’s talks in a narrow group lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Trump sitting next to Putin seemed afraid or nervous, couldn’t stop moving his hands and wouldn’t look or talk to Putin.

It is also known that journalists have already been invited to the room where the press conference between Trump and Putin is to take place.
Earlier this week, Trump told reporters that in a few minutes he would know whether Putin was really interested in making peace. He also said that he would “walk away” if things went wrong.
“If the meeting is bad, it will be over very quickly. If the meeting goes well, we will have peace in the near future,” he said.
The fact that the talks lasted almost three hours may indicate that Trump saw no reason to end the meeting quickly.
A White House spokesman said that the working lunch with the expanded delegation has not yet begun, meaning that the three-on-three talks are continuing.
Initially, it was reported that Trump and Putin would talk one-on-one, but a few minutes after the US president landed in Alaska, the plan changed.
