In 2025, Ukrposhta and its employees paid over UAH 3.6 billion in taxes to various levels of Ukraine’s budget without receiving any subsidies or grants from the state budget.

This was announced by the company’s CEO, Ihor Smelyansky, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

“The harsh reality is that there is not a penny (or even a “step”) of subsidies or grants for Ukrposhta in the state budget, although this is common practice in Europe. For example, our neighbors, Poczta Polska, receive about €170 million from the budget every year. On the contrary, we have received gratitude as one of the largest taxpayers in the logistics sector,” Smelyansky wrote.

In 2025, Ukrposhta and its employees paid more than UAH 3.6 billion in taxes to budgets at various levels.

In particular, the contributions were distributed as follows:

  • Single social contribution – 1,375,714 hryvnia.
  • Personal income tax – UAH 1,178,498.
  • Military tax – UAH 328,633.
  • VAT – UAH 631,987.
  • Land, real estate, environmental, and other taxes – UAH 96,807.
  • Other taxes (customs duties, income tax, etc.) – UAH 1,597.

Ukrposhta does not receive any subsidies or grants from the state budget. The company earns money from its own activities: for example, the delivery of 10 million parcels at UAH 50 each provides an income of UAH 500 million, which covers salaries, expenses, and taxes, Smilyansky concluded.
