Ukrainian fencer Olga Kharlan has become a mother for the first time. The six-time Olympic medalist announced the birth of her daughter on her Instagram, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
The girl was born on June 14, 2026.
The athlete shared the happy news on the morning of June 16. She posted a touching photo of her newborn’s hand and revealed her daughter’s name.
“Arianna 06/14/2026. Mom and Dad love you more than anything,” Harlan wrote in her post.
This is the first child for 35-year-old Olga Kharlan. The girl’s father is her fiancé, 38-year-old Italian sabre fencer Luigi Samele.
Who is Luigi Samele
Luigi Samele is a renowned Italian fencer with significant athletic achievements. He is a multiple medalist at the Olympic Games, World Championships, and European Championships.
Olga Kharlan and Luigi Samele have been together since 2019. In September 2024, the Italian athlete proposed to the Ukrainian fencer, and the couple announced their engagement.
