Tax Support for Veteran-Owned Businesses – The State Tax Service Has Launched a New Service
9 April 18:33
The State Tax Service has launched a new service—tax support for veteran-owned businesses. This was announced by the State Tax Service, as reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".
The service is being launched with the support of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, there are currently 1.8 million veterans in Ukraine. Since tax issues often feel like an insurmountable challenge for many of them, the State Tax Service’s services must be user-friendly and tailored to their needs, the statement notes.
“In essence, this is personalized support for veterans at every stage of running a business. It will soon be available at all offices across 20 regions,” said Lesya Karnaukh, acting head of the State Tax Service.
She promised veterans systematic assistance from the State Tax Service in choosing a tax system right from the start, support in obtaining grants, explanations of each step without complex language or bureaucracy, and support throughout the business operation process, not just at the startup stage.
According to her, priority service features are being improved for veterans: no-wait appointments, a dedicated line at the contact center, a separate section in the chatbot, and priority offline service.
As a reminder:
The government has launched support for veterans in finding jobs, learning new professions, starting their own businesses, housing solutions, and community engagement.
