More than a thousand railway tickets purchased by military personnel through the Army app in the first days of the New Year

During the first week of the Army app’s operation, the military purchased 1,104 railway tickets from the special reserve for trains to and from frontline cities. Ukrainian defenders received this opportunity as part of the Plus program. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to information provided by Ukrzaliznytsia, the service is most often used almost close to the trip: 26% of tickets are purchased the day before the train departure, and 20% – on the day of departure. 22% of tickets are redeemed 2 days before departure.
The most popular routes in terms of the number of tickets purchased are, as expected, those leading to/from the largest frontline cities.
The absolute leader is the route from Zaporizhzhia to Kyiv and back. Trains from Kyiv to Kramatorsk and back are in second place in terms of the number of tickets purchased. Trains from Kharkiv to Kyiv and back are in third place.
In total, since the launch of the service, more than 14 thousand users have logged into the application and tested the service, getting acquainted with its capabilities.
Ukrzaliznytsia reminded that railway tickets from the special reserve for defenders can be purchased in the Army app through the national program to support servicemen “Plusy”. You can learn more about Army and download the app here.
The Ministry of Defense reported that under the Plus program, the military can also receive discounts from Ukrnafta for fuel and gas station menus.
According to the defense ministry, other national businesses will join the program, and soldiers will continue to receive more and more privileges – from discounts on services to priority access to cultural events.
