Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, entrepreneurs have received more than 55,000 soft loans worth about UAH 220 billion under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% programme. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, according to [Kommersant]
Last week alone, Ukrainian businessmen received 452 loans worth UAH 1.3 billion. Most of these funds – almost UAH 1 billion – came from state-owned banks.

Since the beginning of 2024, the programme has already helped almost 11,000 entrepreneurs by providing them with loans worth over UAH 42 billion. These funds are used for a variety of purposes, from investment and working capital to support for agriculture and businesses in areas of high military risk.
At the end of last year, the government lifted restrictions on the programme for some war-affected businesses, and the focus of the programme was shifted to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. A new instrument, Affordable Factoring, was also launched to provide working capital.
In total, since the launch of the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% programme, almost 90,000 loan agreements have been signed for a total of over UAH 309 billion.

The government has recently changed the terms of the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% programme.
