Weather forecast in Ukraine for April 2: rains, fog and gusty winds

on April 2, 2025, the weather in Ukraine will remain under the influence of a low pressure field. Residents of the western, northern, Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions will see light rain due to the approaching atmospheric front, while precipitation is not expected in the rest of the country. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center.
In most parts of the country, the weather will be variable, but without significant precipitation. In the central and southern regions, there may be fog in the morning and afternoon, which may hamper visibility on the roads. The wind is mostly northerly, with a moderate speed of 7-12 m/s.
However, in the northwestern part and in the Carpathians, gusts can reach 15-20 m/s during the day, so be careful in open areas.
The air temperature at night will range from 4 to 9°C above zero. During the day, thermometers will rise to 8-13°C, and in the south, east and Dnipro region it will be warmer – 14-19°C. In the Carpathians, the weather will remain cool: 0-5°C at night and only 1-6°C during the day.
Weather in Kyiv region and Kyiv
On April 2, residents of Kyiv region and the capital will have cloudy weather with light rain.
“Cloudy. Light rain,” weather forecasters say.
The wind will be northerly, at a speed of 7-12 m/s, which will make it feel cool. The temperature at night in the region will be 4-9°C, during the day – 8-13°C.
In Kyiv itself, the temperature is expected to be 6-8°C at night and around 10°C during the day.
