Operations at some facilities have been suspended

Due to damage and the need to inspect equipment, some production facilities are temporarily out of service.

The shutdown is necessary in order to:

  • assess the technical condition of the facilities;
  • address the consequences of the attacks;
  • verify the safety of the equipment;
  • determine the scope of restoration work;
  • prevent accidents during future operations.

Naftogaz has not yet provided a timeline for the full restoration of the damaged assets.

Russia continues to target energy infrastructure

Naftogaz Group facilities are regularly targeted by Russian attacks. Gas production facilities, storage facilities, fuel transportation infrastructure, and gas stations are all under attack.

Such attacks are not only aimed at physically destroying equipment. They also pose a threat to employees, complicate energy production, and require significant expenses for repairs and restoration.
