Russia launches more than 400 drones and 40 missiles at Ukraine overnight

6 June 11:11

Russia’s nighttime attack on June 6 was another large-scale strike on cities and ordinary life. In total, the attack involved more than 400 drones and more than 40 missiles. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his social media, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“The enemy attacked Volyn, Lviv, Ternopil, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions. Some missiles and drones were shot down.

“In total, more than 400 drones and more than 40 missiles, including ballistic missiles, were involved in the attack today. Forty-nine people were wounded. Unfortunately, the number may increase: people are asking for help. At this moment, we know about three dead. These are employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine,” the President noted.

He emphasized that Russia must be held accountable for its strikes, because “from the first minute of this war, they have been hitting cities and villages to destroy lives.”

“We have done a lot together with the world to be able to defend ourselves. But now is the moment when America, Europe and everyone in the world can stop this war by putting pressure on Russia. If someone does not put pressure and gives the war more time to take lives, it is complicity and responsibility. We need to act decisively,” Zelensky summarized.
