Russian missile damages Odesa-Zaporizhzhia train: eerie footage

The Russian occupation army launched a massive missile attack on the Dnipro River. One of the enemy’s targets was a passenger train Odesa – Zaporizhzhia. According to preliminary data, there are injuries among the passengers. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to local telegram channels and Ukrzaliznytsia.

The moment of the hit was caught on video

The attack hit the cars directly while the train was in Dnipro.

A video filmed by a passenger at the moment of impact was posted online. The footage showed panic inside the car and an injured woman with a bloody forehead.

Information was spread on social media that one of the missiles hit the train directly, but there is no confirmation of this.

It is known that the victims are being treated at the scene.

Ukrzaliznytsia: train damaged, passengers evacuated

According to the official information of Ukrzaliznytsia, as a result of a Russian terrorist strike in the Dnipropetrovs’k region, train #52 Odesa – Zaporizhzhia was damaged. Passengers have been moved to shelters as air alert in the region continues.

The company is preparing replacement rolling stock in Dnipro to transfer people and take them to their destination in Zaporizhzhia.

Large-scale destruction in Dnipro: gymnasium, dormitory and administrative building destroyed

According to the Dnipropetrovs’k Regional Military Administration, a large-scale fire broke out in the city as a result of the enemy attack. Civilian infrastructure was damaged:

  • a dormitory
  • a gymnasium
  • an administrative building;
  • a passenger train was damaged.

The city of Samar was also shelled: there are victims

In addition to Dnipro, the enemy struck the city of Samar. Details about the consequences are still being clarified. The authorities report that there are unfortunately dead and injured in all areas of the attack.
