Russian gas stations start limiting gasoline sales

In some Russian regions, gas stations have begun to limit the volume of gasoline sold.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Russian media.

“For more than a month now, there have been reports of shortages and interruptions in gasoline supplies to gas stations in a number of regions. Some chains that continue to operate in the face of local fuel shortages have been forced to impose restrictions on the sale of 10-20 liters of gasoline per customer. These measures should help the owners of the networks to wait out the difficult period of shortage and not to close their filling stations temporarily,” said Pavlo Bazhenov, President of the Independent Fuel Union.

It is noted that the main reason for this situation is a seasonal increase in demand with a decrease in gasoline production, including due to repairs of refineries.
