On the night of Sunday, November 9, Russian drones hit one of Clear Energy’s biomass power plants, and it was severely damaged.
This was reported by its co-founder Andriy Hrynenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“Last night, three drones attacked one of our Ukrainian CHP plants – the one that Clear Energy team and I built in 2016. It has become a benchmark for the industry – the first large biomass plant that proved to Ukraine that energy independence begins with local resources,” said Greenenko.
He added that no one was injured in the attack.
Shelling of Ukraine
On the night of November 8, Russia launched a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine, using missiles and drones to strike energy infrastructure.
Due to the damage to the networks, emergency power outages had to be introduced in a number of regions, which led to interruptions in the operation of critical systems.
