Russian drone hits Kharkiv high-rise building – photos and details

In Kharkiv, residents of a high-rise building hit by a Russian drone are being evacuated after it was struck by a Russian drone, and two people are suffering from acute stress reactions. This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov in Telegram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“We have a preliminary report of an enemy Shahed UAV striking a high-rise building in the Saltovsky district. We are finding out the details,” he wrote.
According to him, the shelling damaged the roof and technical floor of a multi-storey residential building. There was a small fire. The elevator shaft, partially the technical floor and the front part of the slabs between the 9th and technical floors were destroyed.
The glazing in the adjacent buildings and eight cars were also damaged. People are being evacuated from the building’s entrance.
During the aftermath of the nighttime Russian air attack, rescuers rescued a woman with a disability, and another person suffered from severe stress, the State Emergency Service reports, posting photos and videos from the site of the strike.
35 rescuers and psychologists of the SES are working at the site. In addition, a rapid response bus of the Kharkiv City Council was deployed to provide assistance to the residents of the building.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, the fall of the wreckage of the Geranium UAV damaged the glass in 9 apartment buildings and a children’s educational institution located nearby. The fire that broke out has already been extinguished.
