Secret Service refuses to discuss Trump’s defense during Alaska summit

The US Secret Service has refused to comment on the protection measures for US President Donald Trump at the summit with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
This was reported to the Russian media in an official response from the agency, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“The security of the president is a top priority. For reasons of operational security, we do not discuss specific means and methods,” a spokesperson for the service said.
on August 15, Putin and Trump will hold talks in Alaska. The main topic is peace in Ukraine. Proposals under discussion may include the exchange of territories and Kyiv’s refusal to join NATO, Western media report.
The Kremlin confirmed the date and place. Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov explained the choice of Alaska by its geographical proximity to Russia: the delegations will be able to simply fly across the Bering Strait. According to him, the next few days will be devoted to “active and intense work” on the details of the meeting. He warned that the process would not be easy.
