Stefanishyna resigns: she may head the Ministry of Justice

Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna has decided to resign. She has submitted a letter of resignation to the Verkhovna Rada, Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said, according to [Kommersant]

“The Verkhovna Rada has received a letter of resignation from Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine O. Stefanishyna,” he wrote.

According to Stefanchuk, the statement will be considered at one of the next plenary sessions of the Council.

According to the source [Kommersant] Stefanishyna may take over the Ministry of Justice from Denys Malyuska, who also submitted his resignation today.

As a reminder, the Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn, Minister of Justice Denys Malyuska and Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Ruslan Strelets have all submitted their resignations.

Information from interlocutors [Kommersant] about the dismissal of Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Rostyslav Shurma has been confirmed. On 3 September, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Rostyslav Shurma from his post.

The head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction , David Arakhamia, announced a major reset of the Cabinet of Ministers this week.
