The world is facing dramatic changes, and Ukraine’s partners are “forced to fight with our hands,” says Borovyk

Valery Borovik, a combat veteran and founder of Ukrainian defense manufacturer First Contact, said that humanity is on the verge of major transformations, and that the course of the war and the future of the planet depend not only on political decisions, but also on global processes.

He said this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to Borovyk, people do not fully control their own future.

“It’s hard to say for sure. I mean, we don’t predict our future, we don’t even create our future, unfortunately. There are forces above us that are greater, maybe even not on this planet, other energies that shape the history of this planet,” he said.

At the same time, he is convinced that humanity has a tool of influence — willpower. Borovik stressed that current events could have global consequences.

“We cannot say what will happen. But it is clear that this will lead to dramatic changes in the situation on the planet. The only question is what human potential the planet will continue to develop and how many people will remain,” he said.

Drawing historical parallels, Borovik recalled the 1938 Munich Agreement and the position of then British Prime Minister Arthur Neville Chamberlain.

“What happened in Munich when Chamberlain, stepping out of the plane, waved the document and said, ‘I have brought peace.’ And how long did that peace last? Then Czechoslovakia, which could have stopped the Germans, was effectively trampled on — they had more tanks and a powerful industry,” he said.

According to him, history demonstrates the consequences of concessions to the aggressor, which subsequently led to the fall of France and a threat to Britain. Speaking about international support for Ukraine, the founder of First Contact expressed his conviction that the allies are interested in helping Kyiv.

“Will our partners help us? They have to do it because they are fighting with our hands. If we don’t fight, this war will come to them. And those who don’t understand this will get this war or go into the past,” Borovyk said.

At the same time, he stressed that further developments will depend on political decisions in partner countries and their willingness to respond to changes in the format of the war.
