Trump signs executive order on $1 million immigration visas

US President Donald Trump has unveiled a new visa program for wealthy foreigners, which will allow them to buy a residence permit at different prices.
This is reported on the government website, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
A gold card for individuals can be purchased for $1 million. It will entitle the holder to an expedited residence permit in the United States.
For $5 million, an extended university degree will be available with the possibility of living in the United States for 270 days without paying taxes.
According to the American leader, the number of buyers of these cards will be about 1 million people.
At the end of August, the administration of US President Donald Trump proposed to introduce new visa restrictions for Chinese journalists. The American authorities thus decided to reduce the period of their stay to 90 days with the possibility of extension.
As for journalists from other countries, they will be limited to 240 days. This will abolish the current rule that allows them to stay in the country until the end of their business trip.
