The blue metro line is fully operational in Kyiv: schedule

The blue metro line in Kyiv has resumed full operation after repairs between Demiivska and Lybidska stations, which lasted nine months. The video was published by Kyiv TV channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“The cars are running moderately, they are free for now, the passenger traffic is not high, but we expect an increase. During normal hours, trains run at intervals of 5-6 minutes, and during rush hours – 3-4 minutes,” said Svitlana Kosenko, the station attendant at Demiivska station.

The Kyiv City State Administration said that the section “Heroes of Dnipro” – “Lybidska” will continue to operate without changes, and at the section “Demiivska” – “Teremky” the stations will resume operation according to the following schedules:

  • demiivska station – from 05:49 to 22:34;
  • holosiivska station – from 05:52 to 22:35;
  • vasylkivska station (exit number 1) – from 05:50 to 22:32;
  • vasylkivska station (exit 2) – from 05:53 to 22:29;
  • vystavochny Tsentr station (exit 1) – from 05:53 to 22:28;
  • vystavochny Tsentr station (exit 2) – from 05:56 to 22:28;
  • hippodrome station – from 05:52 to 22:27;
  • teremky station – from 05:53 to 22:25.

Train intervals on the Obolonsko-Teremkivska line will be 3-4 minutes during peak hours and 5-6 minutes during off-peak hours. On weekends, train waiting time is 6-8 minutes.

All stations of the Blue Line are underground and operate around the clock as shelters.

The day before, it became known that Kyiv had completed the repair of an emergency section of the metro on the Blue Line between Demiivska and Lybidska stations. Commissioning works were carried out.
