Ukrainian biathlete gets into the top 10 of the World Championships

Ukrainian biathlete Khrystyna Dmytrenko has reached the top 10 of the Biathlon World Championships, which are taking place in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, reports ![]()
In the women’s individual race, Ukraine was represented by Yulia Dzhima, Anastasia Merkushyna, Khrystyna Dmytrenko and Anna Kryvonos. Dmytrenko showed the best result among Ukrainian women. She finished in 8th place. Our biathlete shot perfectly, without making any mistakes, but lost speed and lagged behind the winner by 2 minutes and 10.1 seconds.
The winner was Lisa Vitozzi from Italy, who completed the course in 40 minutes and 2.9 seconds. Janina Gettich-Waltz (Germany) and Julie Simon (France) also reached the podium.
