Ukrainian electric buses presented in Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi

In early February, the All-Ukrainian roadshow “Ukrainian Equipment for Communities” reached Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi. This was announced by Dmytro Kysylevskyi, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The main goal of such events is to demonstrate that Ukrainian producers are able to meet 100% of the needs of communities. According to the deputy, representatives of the communities in these regions were presented with a catalog that includes 255 units of wheeled vehicles manufactured by 32 companies from 14 regions of Ukraine. There are even electric buses produced in Ukraine.
“Ukraine is one of the few countries in Europe that simultaneously produces all types of public transport, special and municipal vehicles. Once again, I observed the surprise of many community leaders when they learned from the catalog that Ukraine has its own excavator and ambulances. Not to mention buses, trolleybuses, trams, fire trucks and other equipment. It was important to once again convey an important truth that should become a rule of thumb in times of war: by buying Ukrainian products, we support jobs in communities and contribute to the Armed Forces of Ukraine through taxes,” emphasized Dmytro Kysylevskyi.
Another goal of such presentations is to identify the needs of the regions in wheeled vehicles. For example, as it turned out during the meeting, Khmelnytsky region needs 589 units of wheeled vehicles, including 104 school buses, 119 ambulances, 139 public transport units, etc. And Chernivtsi region needs 501 units of wheeled vehicles, including 105 public transport vehicles, 140 municipal vehicles, 94 special vehicles and 162 units of attachments.
According to Dmytro Kysylevskyi, all these figures are very valuable information for Ukrainian manufacturers, whose representatives took part in the meetings with the communities, and many of them approached mayors and village heads after the event to discuss the details of possible cooperation.
What is known about the roadshow “Ukrainian machinery for communities”
This initiative is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Federation of Employers, the Association of Ukrainian Cities, and the Office of MP Dmytro Kysylevsky as part of the “Made in Ukraine” policy.
At the end of May last year, the catalog of manufacturers “Ukrainian Equipment for Communities” was officially presented. And in early July, an all-Ukrainian roadshow was launched to present this catalog, among other things. Zhytomyr was the first city to be visited by the road show, followed by Uzhhorod, Dnipro, Vinnytsia and other cities of Ukraine.
The All-Ukrainian Roadshow “Ukrainian Machinery for Communities” is an event aimed at demonstrating modern Ukrainian technologies and equipment that can be useful for local communities.
The catalog of Ukrainian manufacturers of machinery for communities contains offers from 32 companies with 255 units of various equipment. The catalog includes public passenger transport (buses, trolleybuses, electric buses and trams), municipal equipment (sweepers, garbage trucks, watering and road machines, dump trucks, trawls, earthmoving machines), special equipment (tankers, trailers and semi-trailers, fire and rescue equipment, lifting equipment, ambulances, vans and trucks), as well as attachments (buckets, road brushes, snow plows, pallet forks, mowers, leaf blowers, wood chippers, pruners and uprooters).
