Umerov puts forward proposal on withdrawal of troops from Ukraine

Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov has suggested setting up an international working group of defence ministers and national security advisers to work out mechanisms for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine. About this Umerov wrote in Facebook, informs .

The corresponding proposal he voiced at the fourth meeting of national security advisers regarding the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

According to the Minister, “it is impossible to talk about the restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine without the complete withdrawal and disarmament of Russian troops and terrorist groups from the temporarily seized territories”.

on 14 January, the fourth meeting of national security and political advisers took place in the Swiss city of Davos with the participation of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.

Representatives of 81 countries and international organisations took part in the event.
