On Monday, October 28, 61-year-old Adnan Kiwan, the founder of KADORR Group and a multimillionaire, who was the largest Arab investor in Ukraine, died in Odesa. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the official Facebook page of KADORR Group.

“On October 28, 2024, the founder of KADORR Group Corporation, Adnan Kiwan, the largest Arab investor in Ukraine, known for business projects, social initiatives, as well as charity and philanthropy, passed away,” the post says.

The cause of death of the multimillionaire has not been disclosed.

It is known that Adnan Kivan was buried at the Western Cemetery in Odesa.

What is known about the deceased Adnan Kivan

During his lifetime, Kivan was known in Odesa as the largest developer – he owned more than 46 residential complexes, several business and shopping centers, as well as the Arab Cultural Center on Rishelievska Street.

In addition, Kivan invested in the media – he owned the city’s well-known Channel 7 TV channel, and in 2018 bought the Kyiv Post newspaper.

In Odesa business and political circles, Adnan Kivan was also known as a major financier of various parties, and he is also remembered for a long and fierce conflict with Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.

In 2021, he was included in the Forbes list of the 100 richest Ukrainians with a net worth of $240 million.
