What surprises does the weather have in store for Ukrainians on December 14: weather forecast

On Sunday, December 14, cloudy and humid weather with rain and sleet will prevail in most regions of Ukraine. The reason will be the so-called trough between two anticyclones – Frieda and Ellinor.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to weather forecaster Natalia Didenko.
According to her forecast, rains are most likely in the western regions, while sleet is expected in the rest of the country, sometimes with sticking. Ice may form on roads and sidewalks. No significant precipitation is expected in the eastern regions, and on Sunday afternoon precipitation will stop in the west.
At the same time, strong, sometimes stormy westerly winds are expected in the western regions.
At night, the air temperature in Ukraine will range from 0 to -5 degrees, and during the day – from 3 degrees below zero to 3 degrees above zero. The highest temperatures are forecast in the west: at night from 1 to 3 degrees, during the day from 3 to 6 degrees.
In Kyiv, on December 14, the weather will be cloudy with occasional sleet and ice. At night, the temperature will be -1 to -3 degrees, during the day – around zero.
