Former Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak met with a number of top Ukrainian officials after his dismissal from office. This is reported in an article by Ukrayinska Pravda, according to
In particular, as journalists found out, on January 27, 2026, the president’s advisor on strategic issues, former minister of strategic industries of Ukraine, and former member of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia, Oleksandr Kamyshin, visited a building in the center of Kyiv, which UP calls Yermak’s office.
It is noted that Kamyshin arrived at the building with a notebook and left it an hour later. Yermak himself left the building shortly thereafter.
In a comment to journalists, Kamyshin said that he “may” have visited Yermak’s office, but cannot remember what they discussed.
Journalists also spotted Ukraine’s ambassador to Israel, Yevhen Korniychuk, near the same building . He said he could neither “confirm nor deny” a meeting with Yermak.
Ukrainska Pravda also claims that on the evening of January 30 , Andriy Yermak visited the residential complex where the current NSDC secretary Rustem Umerov lives and stayed there for about three hours.
Umerov himself confirmed the meeting in comments to journalists . According to him, he and Yermak talked for about an hour on general topics.
Who is Kamyshin
Oleksandr Kamyshin is a top manager who headed Ukrzaliznytsia and served as a minister in the Cabinet of Ministers.
He became acting chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia in August 2021, and in March 2022, he was confirmed as chairman of the board on a permanent basis.
In February 2023, Kamyshin was dismissed from this position, but he remained in the management system of Ukrzaliznytsia as a member of the company’s supervisory board .
In total, he remained in the management of UZ in various capacities for more than four years (UZ ended 2025 in technical default, ed.).
In December last year, it became known that Oleksandr Kamyshin was leaving the UZ Supervisory Board “due to a new position in the defense sector.“
On March 3, 2023 , Kamyshin became an advisor to the President of Ukraine for the first time, but on March 24, 2023, he was dismissed from this position because he was soon appointed Minister of Strategic Industries.
On September 8, 2024, Zelensky reappointed Kamyshin as his advisor, this time on strategic issues (outside the staff).
Yermak’s resignation
On November 28, 2025, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office reported searches at Andriy Yermak’s home. However, the reason for the searches was not officially announced. Later, the then head of the Presidential Administration confirmed that anti-corruption authorities had conducted investigative actions at his home.
Some media outlets and public figures suggested that the searches could be related to the Midas special operation.
To date, NABU and SAP have neither confirmed nor denied this version of events.
On the evening of November 28, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Yermak had submitted his resignation.
It later became known that Yermak had regained his right to practice law.
