State-owned PrivatBank will spend nearly 20 million hryvnias on commercials during the war

In April–May 2026, the state-owned PrivatBank signed two major contracts for the production of promotional videos with a total value of 19.4 million hryvnias. These contracts involve the production of videos for the bank’s image and product advertising campaigns at the national level. The relevant contracts have been published on the Prozorro system, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The largest contract— worth 15.52 million UAH —was awarded to Electric Ship Film LLC. The company became the “primary supplier” of advertising video production services for PrivatBank. The contract provides for the provision of services through April 2028.
Another contract— worth 3.88 million UAH —went to Mamakhihotala LLC, which has been designated as the “backup supplier” of similar services. The contract is also valid until 2028.
Both procurements were conducted without using an electronic bidding system. The customer cited “martial law conditions” as the basis for the non-competitive procedure.
What was ordered
The subject of the procurement is the production of promotional videos for the bank’s image and product campaigns at the national level.
Suppliers
Electric Ship Film LLC— a production company that has worked with PrivatBank on multiple occasions. According to Opendatabot, the company previously received contracts from the bank to produce videos for the “Konverty” and “Privat Kredituet” advertising campaigns, as well as for loyalty programs and auto loans.
Since 2023, the firm has secured over 26 million UAH (26,039,978 ₴) in PrivatBank tenders. At the same time, the company has no other government clients.
In open sources, the company also appears as the production company for certain PrivatBank Power advertising campaigns.
The ultimate beneficiary of “Electric Ship Film” is Andriy Kopots (a Moldovan citizen), who is one of the founders along with Olena Dyakova.
Another winner— Mamahikhotala LLC— is associated with the eponymous comedy and production project. The company produces film and video content, television programs, advertising, and post-production. It has been operating in the market since 2016.
Natalia Zayats is listed as the ultimate beneficiary in the registry, and Grigory Shevchenko is among the founders .
This is the first tender for “Mamahikhotala” from PrivatBank.
Against the backdrop of the war and severe austerity in the public sector, the sum of nearly 20 million UAH for advertising production for the state-owned bank appears to be one of the largest marketing procurements in the banking sector this year.
About the Bank
PrivatBank is Ukraine’s largest state-owned bank and one of the key players in the banking sector. Following its nationalization in 2016, the bank is fully controlled by the state through the Ministry of Finance.
Today, the bank serves over 18 million active customers, and 70% of Ukrainians use its services. The bank is a leader in the retail segment and has an extensive network of 1,186 branches, 6,850 ATMs, and nearly 10,400 self-service terminals throughout the country.
The Chairman of the Board of JSC CB “PrivatBank” is Swedish banker Mikael Björkner. In February 2026, his salary amounted to 2.2 million UAH ( per month).
The bank’s Management Board consists of Deputy Chairpersons Larysa Chernyshova, Nataliia Savchuk, and Oleksii Filipov, as well as Board members Solvita Deglava, Dmytro Musienko, Yevhen Zaigraiev, and Anton Razumnyi.
