March as a growth point
March alone was a peak month, with 216.2 million eggs exported in a single month and total revenue of $24 million
Trends:
- 23% compared to February 2026
- 25% year-over-year
At the same time, growth in monetary terms is significantly faster:
- 57% compared to March 2025
This indicates not only an increase in volume but also rising prices or a shift in the export structure.
Money vs. volumes: a key trend
For the first quarter:
- $66 million in total revenue
- 74% in monetary terms
- versus 17% in physical volumes
This gap indicates rising global prices, a shift in exports toward higher-margin markets, or product shortages in certain sectors.
Export geography
Main buyers of Ukrainian eggs:
- Spain — 26.1%
- United Kingdom — 13.1%
- Poland — 11.7%
- Israel — 8.3%
The share of European Union countries in the export structure reached 74%.
This confirms the Ukrainian agricultural sector’s continued reorientation toward the European market.
The broader agricultural context
The growth in egg exports is occurring alongside other positive signs:
- in March, poultry meat exports exceeded 43,000 tons,
