Who Will Be Recruiting Staff for “Energoatom”: A company whose director owns an energy business himself has been awarded a 22-million contract

The Supervisory Board of NAEK “Energoatom” will spend nearly 29 million hryvnia to find new leadership for the company. The largest contract—worth 22.1 million hryvnias—was awarded to the international consulting group Korn Ferry through its Ukrainian subsidiary, Korn Ferry LLC, according to "Komersant Ukrainian", citing “Nashi Hroshi.”
Specifically , Korn Ferry LLC will be responsible for recruiting the CEO, the Chief Nuclear Safety and Operations Officer (CNO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and the Chief Project Delivery Officer (CPDO), while Telent Advisors LLC, for 6.60 million hryvnia, will handle the recruitment of the Chief People Officer (CPO), the Chief Legal Officer (CLO), and the Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer (CCSO).
Two Businesses, One Director
According to the Unified State Register, Roman Bondar is the director of Korn Ferry LLC.
At the same time, Bondar is the founder and ultimate beneficiary of KOE-ENERGY LLC, registered in March 2025 in Cherkasy. The company’s primary activity is electricity generation.
The company’s authorized capital is 1 million UAH, and Bondar himself owns 100% of the company.
Thus, the person who heads the contractor company tasked with recruiting executives for the state-owned energy giant also runs his own business in the energy market.

Korn Ferry LLC is the Ukrainian office of the international consulting and recruitment group Korn Ferry, which specializes in executive search, leadership assessment, and corporate consulting. The company has been operating in Ukraine since 2006. It is owned by the Dutch entities Korn Ferry Investments B.V. (99%) and Korn Ferry Management B.V. (1%).
Korn Ferry’s net profit in 2024 amounted to 9 million UAH, and the company’s assets grew to 79.2 million UAH. In 2025, the firm’s revenue had already reached 91.6 million UAH, and its net profit stood at 10.23 million UAH.

According to data from Prozorro and OpenDataBot, since 2018 the company has regularly received small contracts from state-owned enterprises and banks. Key clients include:
- Naftogaz of Ukraine;
- Ukrposhta;
- NBU;
- Ukrenergo;
- Ukrgasbank.
In 2025, sales through government procurement totaled approximately 5 million UAH. However, the bulk of this amount came from the largest contract—the search for the chairman of the board of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”—worth 4.57 million UAH.

“Talent Advisors” is part of the international Odgers Berndtson network and controls Odgers Berndtson Ukraine LLC. Until 2019, the beneficiary of this LLC was the aforementioned Roman Bondar , who is currently the director of Korn Ferry LLC.
From 2019 to 2021,Roman Bondar served as first deputy general director of the State Corporation “Ukroboronprom.”
