Fake bookings need to be weeded out through business audits, says Gorbenko

Companies that have been granted the right to retain employees must undergo regular inspections.
This opinion was expressed by MP Ruslan Gorbenko on the "Komersant Ukrainian" YouTube channel.
He believes that the state should evaluate not only the number of reserved employees but also the actual results of the company’s operations. If the workforce increases while production remains nearly at the same level, this may indicate abuse.

As an example, Gorbenko cited a situation where the number of reserved employees increases severalfold, but production volumes remain almost unchanged or decline.
“The number of employees is growing, while production is falling. So here, I think this is, in principle, a warning sign that this enterprise needs to be inspected,” the deputy noted.
According to him, one of the new criteria for critically important enterprises could be the output per employee.
