Emergency repair work continues in Kyiv following damage to the heating system. As of now, 67 residential buildings remain without heating, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. This was reported on Kyiv24 by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
How many buildings are without heat
According to the mayor, the number of buildings without heating has decreased, and Kyivteploenergo specialists are working around the clock to restore heat supply as soon as possible. Klitschko expressed hope that by the end of the current day or in the morning of January 17, all consumers will have heating again.
How emergency services are working
The mayor noted that repair crews are working in an enhanced mode. Work is being carried out simultaneously in several areas where the most critical damage has occurred in order to gradually connect houses to the heating network.
Appeal to Kyiv residents
Against the backdrop of the emergency, Klitschko called on the residents of the capital to pay attention to neighbors who may need help — in particular, the elderly, people with disabilities, or those who are left without adequate heating. He advised reporting such cases to the district state administrations.
