The National Bank of Ukraine continues to gradually raise the official exchange rate for the dollar. On Friday, May 22, 2026, the U.S. currency rose in value again. This is evidenced by updated data from the National Bank of Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
The official exchange rate for the dollar on May 22 is 44.2341 UAH, and for the euro — 51.3027 UAH. The day before, on May 21, the dollar was worth 44.2271 UAH, and the euro — 51.3034 UAH.

Euro exchange rate as of May 22
The single European currency stabilized after a brief rise.

On Thursday, the euro exchange rate was also at 51.30 UAH. In other words, there have been no significant changes regarding the European currency.
