The Poltava-based “Aurora” Group continues to demonstrate significant growth even under a wartime economy. The operator of the “Aurora Multimarket” chain of stores —Vygidna Pokupka LLC— has increased its revenue nearly 50-fold over the past five years and may approach the 100 billion UAH annual turnover mark for the first time as early as 2026. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing data from public registries.

According to OpenDataBot analytics, the company’s projected revenue in 2026 could exceed 94 billion UAH.

For comparison, as recently as 2020, the chain’s revenue barely exceeded 1 billion UAH. But by the end of 2025, the company’s revenue had reached 49.2 billion UAH, which is nearly a third more than the previous year.

The business’s profitability remains equally high. Last year, Vygidna Pokupka’s net profit exceeded 4 billion UAH, and its return on sales reached over 9%. The company continues to grow its assets, which were valued at 14.7 billion UAH as of the end of 2025, while total liabilities amounted to approximately 4.5 billion UAH.

Network expansion remains a key factor in the company’s growth. As of early 2026, the company employed nearly 16,000 people, compared to just over 3,000 five years ago. Along with the expansion of the workforce, wages have also risen slightly: the average salary in 2025 exceeded 29,000 hryvnias.

The core business of Vygidna Pokupka LLC is managing a chain of one-dollar stores under the “Aurora Multimarket” brand . This brand has become one of the leaders in Ukrainian retail in recent years, actively expanding in both large cities and small towns. The format of affordable goods for the home, household, and everyday needs has allowed the company to significantly expand its customer base even during a period of economic instability and war.

According to state registry data, the authorized capital of Vygidna Pokupka LLC is 14.5 million UAH. The company is owned by the Cypriot entity Avroritail Investments Limited, and the ultimate beneficial owner is listed as the chain’s co-founder, Lev Zhydenko.

Early 2026

The financial results for the first quarter of 2026 confirm that the company continues to grow at a rapid pace. Over three months, the company generated over UAH 13.4 billion in revenue and nearly UAH 1.2 billion in net profit. If this momentum continues through the end of the year, “Aurora” will have every chance of setting a new sales record among the country’s largest private retail companies.
