The notorious Ukrainian singer Taisiya Povaliy, known for her controversial past, reacted with extreme outrage to the lawful confiscation of her home near Kyiv, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The 61-year-old artist was extremely outraged by the court’s decision and posted an angry message about it on social media. She complained that after all her appeals were rejected, her former property was finally transferred to the state. The singer claimed that a family who had been continuously caring for the estate all this time was allegedly evicted onto the street.

“They didn’t take the house from me, but from a pensioner who had lived in Ukraine for 80 years and was planning to return,” Taisiya Povaliy wrote cynically on her Instagram page.

Why was Taisiya Povaliy sanctioned and lost her property?

It is worth recalling that on the eve of the full-scale invasion, she and her husband quickly fled the country. During numerous interviews with enemy propaganda media, the woman actively supported the armed aggression and harshly criticized the Ukrainian government.

Due to this blatantly anti-Ukrainian stance, the star was predictably placed on the official sanctions list as early as October 2022.

What other property did Taisiya Povaliy permanently surrender to the state through the courts?

In 2024, the High Anti-Corruption Court ruled to permanently confiscate all assets belonging to this Putin supporter. Not only was this luxurious home transferred to the state, but also seven large plots of land in the Kyiv region.

Additionally, the former star had her luxury car seized, along with the copyrights to the lyrics and music for nearly 10 well-known songs. Furthermore, the court permanently stripped the singer of absolutely all her state honors.
