Due to the destruction of its warehouse by the Russians: Herbalife has begun importing products from Poland

18 August 17:38

As a result of a massive Russian attack on the Kyiv region on August 5, a logistics warehouse belonging to Herbalife’s partner, “Raben Ukraine,” was destroyed, but on August 13, the company had already resumed accepting and fulfilling orders in Ukraine, according to [Komersant], citing the company’s press service.

“The international company Herbalife resumed accepting and fulfilling orders in Ukraine eight days after its warehouse containing products was destroyed in the Kyiv region. The company has rerouted its logistics chain through Poland, from where the first consolidated shipment will depart for Ukraine on August 18,” the statement reads.

The next shipment is scheduled for August 20–21. Going forward, shipments are planned to take place twice a week.

“For their part, the company’s independent distributors have supported the brand, and in the first three days after resuming operations, order volume reached 150% of the level recorded during the same period a month earlier,” the company stated.

The product range is also gradually being restored: while 16 items were available for order immediately after sales resumed, as of August 18, there were already 24 SKUs. Herbalife has covered all additional costs associated with restructuring its logistics and resuming shipments. As a result, the terms of service and order prices have not changed for the company’s Independent Distributors or consumers.

Orders paid for by August 5 are being processed sequentially in full, including shipments that were damaged or lost due to Russian strikes on Nova Poshta branches. Currently, more than a third of these orders have been fulfilled; the remainder will be prepared and shipped in the coming days. Direct (courier) delivery is also active and available on the website.

“The destruction of our warehouse and product inventory posed a serious challenge to our operations in Ukraine. It was a matter of principle for us to resume operations as quickly as possible while ensuring that the consequences of this situation did not fall on our Independent Distributors. Herbalife’s international infrastructure enabled us to quickly reroute our logistics through Poland: within just eight days, we resumed accepting orders, and we are now steadily restoring our product range and supply chain. “Herbalife continues to operate and grow its business in Ukraine,” commented Tetyana Serebryanik, Director of Herbalife in Ukraine.

Herbalife has been operating in the Ukrainian market through direct sales for 16 years. The brand’s products are available in more than 95 countries worldwide and are distributed through a network of Independent Distributors. The company’s product portfolio includes protein shakes and bars, dietary supplements, energy and fitness drinks, as well as skin and hair care products. In Ukraine, the company works with more than 55,000 Independent Distributors nationwide.
