The dollar and the euro have fallen in value: exchange rates as of June 12

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for Friday, June 12. After several days of gains, the U.S. dollar and the euro have weakened slightly against the hryvnia. This is according to data on the NBU website, as reported by "Komersant Ukrainian"
According to the regulator, the US dollar fell by 5 kopecks, and the euro by 6 kopecks. Despite the slight decline, the dollar exchange rate remains close to the psychological threshold of 45 hryvnias.
Dollar exchange rate as of June 12
On Friday, June 12, the National Bank set the official dollar exchange rate at:
- 1 U.S. dollar — 44.92 UAH.
Compared to the previous day, the US dollar fell in value, while the hryvnia strengthened slightly. Despite this, the dollar remains close to the psychological threshold of 45 hryvnias.
Euro exchange rate as of June 12
The hryvnia also strengthened against the euro. The official exchange rate for the European currency on Friday was set at:
- 1 euro — 51.84 UAH.
Thus, the hryvnia strengthened against the euro by 6 kopecks.

Interbank exchange rates
On Ukraine’s interbank currency market, by 4:00 p.m., the hryvnia’s exchange rate against the dollar stood at:
- 44.90/44.95 UAH/USD.
The hryvnia’s exchange rate against the euro on the interbank market was:
- 51.82/51.86 UAH/EUR
These figures indicate that a certain correction has taken place in the market following the dollar’s record rise.

Exchange rates at PrivatBank
On June 11, the dollar-to-hryvnia exchange rate at PrivatBank rose by 10 kopecks and stood at:
- 45.25 UAH per dollar
You could sell US dollars at the bank at the rate of:
- 44.65 UAH per dollar
The euro exchange rate at PrivatBank also rose by 10 kopecks and stood at:
- 52.45 UAH per euro
You could sell the euro at the rate of:
- 51.45 UAH per euro
Average exchange rates at Ukrainian banks
At the same time, the average dollar exchange rate at Ukrainian banks rose by 15 kopecks to:
- 45.30 UAH per dollar.
The US dollar could be sold at an average rate of:
- 44.73 UAH per dollar.
The average euro-to-hryvnia exchange rate rose by 7 kopecks to:
- 52.35 UAH per euro.
The euro could be sold at a rate of:
- 51.70 UAH per euro.
