Who Made the Most: A Ranking of Ukrainian Companies by Revenue

Data has been released in Ukraine on the companies with the highest revenue for the first quarter of 2026. As of early May, 62,500 companies had submitted their financial reports. The top ten included companies from the energy, oil and gas, metallurgical, and agricultural sectors. Six of the top ten companies are state-owned or under state control.

This is evidenced by data from the YouControl system , reports "Komersant Ukrainian"

Which companies generated the highest revenue

Based on the results of the first quarter of 2026, Metalix Intech LLC reported the highest revenue among Ukrainian companies— 187 billion UAH.

In second place is Expomet Plus LLC with revenue of 120 billion UAH. Third place went to D.Trading LLC with 119 billion UAH.

The top five also included state-owned energy giants: JSC “NAEK “Energoatom” and JSC “NAC “Naftogaz of Ukraine.”

State-owned companies dominate the ranking

Analysts note that among the ten companies with the highest revenue, six are state-owned or under state control.

This demonstrates the significant role of the public sector in the Ukrainian economy, particularly in the energy and oil and gas sectors.

State-owned or state-controlled companies in the ranking include:

• “Energoatom”;
• “Naftogaz of Ukraine”;
• “Naftogaz Trading”;
• “Ukrenergo”;
• “Ukrnafta”;
• “Naftogaz of Ukraine Group.”

“Energoatom” generated over UAH 100 billion in revenue

JSC “NAEK “Energoatom” ranked fourth in the rating with revenue of UAH 102 billion. Compared to the first quarter of 2025, the company’s revenue grew by 32%.

“Energoatom” remains one of the key companies in the Ukrainian energy sector, as it accounts for a significant portion of the country’s electricity production.

Naftogaz and its affiliates — in several top positions

The Naftogaz Group is represented in the ranking by several companies.

JSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” reported UAH 58 billion in revenue, which is 3% more than in the same period last year.

LLC “GC “Naftogaz Trading” reported UAH 57 billion, though the figure decreased by 6%.

Another company in the group— LLC “GC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” —generated UAH 32 billion in revenue, which is 22% more than last year.

Ukrenergo also increased its revenue

PJSC “NEC “Ukrenergo” entered the top 10 with revenue of 37 billion UAH. Compared to the first quarter of 2025, the company’s revenue grew by 23%.

Ukrenergo is the operator of the electricity transmission system, so its financial performance is directly linked to the state of the energy market, electricity consumption, tariffs, and the operation of the power grid under wartime conditions.

Metallix Intech showed the strongest growth

Metallix Intech LLC showed the most notable growth in the ranking . The company reported UAH 187 billion in revenue, whereas in the first quarter of 2025 , its figure was only UAH 0.03 billion.

The growth amounted to over 716,000 percent, making the company the undisputed leader in the ranking in terms of growth rate.

Which industries are represented in the top

Several sectors dominate the top ten companies by revenue:

• energy;
• oil and gas;
• metallurgy and trading;
• agriculture;
• electric power.

This shows that the largest financial flows in Ukraine are concentrated in strategic sectors that are critical to the economy, the budget, and energy security.
